Former Olympic Strength Coach begins to educate coaches and athletes in Columbus, Ohio at the newly opened FieldHouse Athletic Center.

March 17 2004--Performance One Athletic Development provides athletes and coaches the unique opportunity to learn from and train with, the most scientifically minded strength and conditioning coaches that help athletes realize their true potential.

The Performance One Strength and Conditioning Staff is comprised of accomplished professionals who have trained some of the worlds most elite athletes. This staff of highly motivated coaches is overseen by Kevin Ebel, M.Ed., CSCS – Director of Strength and Conditioning. Formerly the Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the United States Olympic Committee and Head Strength Coach for USA Women’s Hockey. His coaching has led to numerous national and international sporting records and testing values in sports skills and played a key role for the United States winning a record number of medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Prior to the USOC Kevin worked with the University of Minnesota Men’s athletics programs where he coached over 14 athletes who went on to play in the NFL, 8 who went on to MLB, 12 who played in the NHL, 4 in the NBA, and one PGA player. He has also trained over 20 athletes who became World Champions and over 58 Olympic Medalists.

Performance One Athletic Devlopment is located at the Columbus FieldHouse Athletic Center. Many people in the Columbus area know of this facility as fromerly being the "Old Continent building" where the french market used to be, located at 6124 Busch Blvd, 614-431-8881.
