30-Minute Circuit Training for Women in Oakland, CA
by Anonymous

Oakland, CA April 25, 2004--Thirty-minute fitness centers are opening throughout the Bay Area. Recently opened, A Woman’s Choice is a club offering a 30-minute workout exclusively for women. The club is located at 4400 Keller Avenue in the Oakland hills.

Women no longer have an excuse for not exercising. The 30-minute, Circuit Training, workout is the answer for busy women wanting to take charge of their health. Each person spends a short time at each “station” focusing on designated muscle groups, alternating between hydraulic resistance machines and cardiovascular exercise. Circuit training burns between 300 to 900 calories per 30-minute work out, depending on the level of intensity used. Each machine works at least two major muscle groups. Any person at any fitness level can use these machines, since the resistance adapts to each individual’s level of effort. As you lower your effort, the machines automatically lower resistance.

A Woman’s Choice has been well received by the community. Women say it’s a quick, fun way to improve both cardiovascular health and strengthen their bodies at the same time. They also enjoy working out in a club exclusively for women and like having the club close to their homes. Socializing with other women while doing something good for their overall wellbeing is another reason women quoted for being so enthusiastic about the club.

Obesity is fast becoming the 2nd major cause of death behind smoking. The 30-minute workout at A Woman’s Choice is one option in helping to stem the epidemic among women.

A Woman’s Choice isn’t one of the franchises that you may have heard about. It’s independently owned and operated by a local resident. The club offers a friendly environment with non-threatening group exercise and the equipment was designed specifically for women. For more additional information call (510)382-1341.
